The NHL has released a tool that lets you use your favorite hockey analytics software to build an interactive hockey analytics dashboard.
The new tool, dubbed Hockey Analytics Deck, is available to download from NHL.com.
The software uses advanced algorithms and visualizations to identify trends, such as when players were on the ice and where they were scoring.
The data is then used to identify the most efficient plays and create scoring chances.
It’s not a new idea.
The NHL’s analytics team is using similar tools in other sports to help predict games and trends, and it has developed tools for the NHLPA.
The league said the tool will also help players evaluate the value of their contract extensions.
The tool is built on an open source design and is available in a few languages, including Python.
It’s open source, meaning anyone can use it to make their own customized dashboard.
Hockey Analytics Deck also lets you create your own custom metrics for your data, such a shot-attempt rate, goal-scoring chances, and shot-rate differential.
The dashboard shows the relative value of each metric.
The default dashboard has a few lines of code that are not used for any other dashboard.
You can see a demo of the tool here.
It comes at a time when the NHL is under scrutiny from the NHL Players Association, which wants to make it easier for players to discuss their stats.
The union has also called for changes to the league’s salary cap system, which has been widely criticized for not keeping up with inflation.
